We often set things in motion by visiting your fire district and gauging the current situation with a needs-assessment. During this process we meet with staff leadership, fire commissioners, firefighters and community members. This may include enhanced levy and bond funding, pursuit of direct state & federal appropriations and grants, or the organization of local fundraising efforts. Campaigns are fast-paced and fun. We work collaboratively with you every step of the way. (On our most recent levy campaign, we obtained voter support that enabled the fire district to raise the levy rate from 31 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value, to collecting $1.40 per thousand, with a 71% “YES” vote).

Constituent Communication

Public understanding of the importance of your Fire District operations is a vital step in attaining success in levy/bond and direct appropriations requests. Hosting public meetings to listen as residents express “what level of service” they desire from you, ensures that your needs and their needs intersect when you request additional tax revenue.
